Big news! We are very excited to announce our recent BAFTA win for Seventh Art’s feature documentary My Childhood, My Country- 20 Years in Afghanistan for ITV. The moving and thought provoking film was tipped Best Single Documentary at the TV BAFTAs.
We’d like to say a huge congratulations to the entire team behind the project including Directors Phil Grabsky and Shoaib Sharifi, Editor Clive Mattock and of course Mir Hussein himself. Not forgetting our in-house Colourist Dave Austin and our Dubbing Mixer Karl Mainzer.
The Documentary was filmed over the course of 20 years, following the journey of a young Afghan local, Mir Hussein. Sharing his personal journey from boyhood to manhood; and the aspiration, poverty and destruction that colours Afghan life today.
